Erika: Hi! I am recommending a book for you to read. I actually just read it:-) It's On Order. "Nine Years Under" by Sheri Booker. It is a memoir of her years working at a funeral home in Baltimore when she was a teen and through college. It's all true and far from being completely morbid, it is full of real people from Baltimore, young and old, well off and poor. The funeral director is a real character and also a father like figure to her and many in the community. She went to Catholic school and was an honor student. I liked it because it showed all sides of Baltimore, not just the crime and poverty. I'd love to hear what you think of it! Your OLD friend, Sue F.
